Santa Monica Fire Dept. Responds to Flooding at Roosevelt Elementary School

SMFD: "Our members were able to use a ladder to get over the fence and turn off the water."

The Sant Monica Fire Dept. was reportedly responding to flooding at Roosevelt elementary school Sunday evening just after 6 pm. Source of the water is unknown; there has been no rain in Santa Monica for a week.

"The call for a Flooding last night was actually at Roosevelt Elementary School and it was simply a hose bib that someone turned on," wrote Walter R. Patton of the Training Division, SMFD. "Our members were able to use a ladder to get over the fence and turn off the water."
