So, what did my gift bag include? Let's take a look.
Los Angeles, March 15, 2023-The veteran Luxury Lifestyle Gifting and special events company DPA, honored the 2023 Oscar Award Nominees by hosting the DPA Hollywood Awards Gifting suites on March 10th and 11th. Held at the LUXE Hotel in Los Angeles, this year the guests were treated to a lavish array of gifts and services.
Nathalie Dubois the founder of DPA, who has in the past produced the official Billboard Music awards DPA gift suite as well teamed up with Circa Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and hosted a gift event, decided to host its first music gift suite in Los Angeles.
So, what did my gift bag include? Let's take a look.
This year, we had an array of beauty, skincare, well-being and fashion brands that graciously gifted us with their amazing products and services.
Every DPA event always features has the latest in beauty and skincare technology. We start with Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics, an Australian brand which features natural skincare and makeup made from powerful botanical ingredients for clean, conscious living. They gave away a hydrating Quandong green booster serum and an Australian Blue Cypress Face Nectar. Kauai based brand Ele Kauai gifted us with their signature room scents and fragrances. A beautiful fragrance from Escentuelle by Carolyne Dunne named 'summer Green' was also in our gift bags.
An exciting fashion brand present was Petrusse Paris, Paris based with a great collection of scarves. The designers were present and showcased the incredible range of wearable, elegant pieces. Lucky guests were their own signature Petrusse scarf.
This year guests were lucky enough to be presented with two Japanese skincare brands. The first one was Sakai Clinic 62, a regenerative clinic in Tokyo, which had unique eye wear drops from a clinic known as the only one in the world which uses stem cells and bone marrow. The most exciting Brand was of course 'Saori' by Saori Yoshimura also known as the Magician Facialist also from Tokyo. She was present to give demonstrations to guests- a few minutes with her magic touch can takes years off your face! Guests got to take home her magic cream as well as a bottle of Agaru shampoo.
LA Based floral arrangement company La Gardeenia offered a gift certificate to get our very own personal flower arrangement. I look forward to ordering that. All these gifts are complimented well with a Helen Ficalora, a decadent fragrance that was gifted to each of us. Deluxe Laser and Aesthetics Spa gifted us with a gift certificate to come in and try one of the many exclusive beauty treatments they offered. Some of the other gifts were from the brands- Cool Look, Something Major, Fallen stars, American Fitness and Lane 1 and Gernie- a brand of sneakers designed by 14-year old Brooklyn native Amira Dior.
Kenyan brand 'The Label Saba' were present showcasing their latest collection 'Mistari'- a Swahili word that means loose lines. The brand focuses on clean leathers and brings together elegant craftsmanship incorporated with the enchanting Maasai culture. A unique brand 'Historically Modern Design' was present to gift us with our own unique Oaxaca drinking bowl.
Swiss Glamour handbag designer De Marquet was also at the event and showcased their latest collection ahead of the award season. The head designer Raffaella Metzger gifted guests with their very own piece to walk on the red carpet with. There was also Skin Medica with their 'Firm and Tone lotion- a powerfully targeted body treatment which uses its scientifically proven skin technology, so the skin appears tighter, smoother, and more toned. I also received a skincare gift set for men from the brand Dion Michaels Skincare. Geek Eyewear were present to gift us a pair with their signature glasses which elude to "Smart is sexy" and "Smart is cool".
For the home, we had a unique American brand 'Scent Si bon' showcasing 'Lombre'- the ultimate collection. They gifted us with their latest addition to their decadent cleaning products, a luxury scented foaming hand soap tablets. Several authors were present to gift and sign copies of their popular books such as Randi T Brown with The New Playbook, Steven Johnson with Snoodles in Space and Virginia Fox with Rocky Mountain Yoga.
No suite is complete without travel, and selected nominees left with a choice of stay either in Thailand at Pimalai Resort and Spa, a stay at The Greenhouse in Iceland, or at Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts in French Polynesia, next to the exotic Bora Bora.
Something for the soul, Transformational healer Dr.Richard Garnier was there for everyone's rescue. Dr. Garnier gifted me with a session of his unique healing method, the 'Hypomagnetism' – a technique that uses a multidisciplinary approach to health. One that combines eastern and western modalities to provide a deep healing for the client. I look forward to visiting him very soon for my healing session! To top it off, guests were able to receive a complimentary mini-intuitive session from author and well-known intuitive Lisa Greenfield and her company Truth in hand.
Food and beverages featured in this year's events as well with such brands present as Topochico, LA Grind Coffee Tea and Bar and Carvery Kitchen. Guests enjoyed great music while sipping libations from Kings of Prohibition by Calabria Family Wines and Artisanal Mezcal from Mezcal Campante. We also got to take home a gift set from Calm Moment, a hemp-infused, natural sparking beverage that is refreshing and delicious with the added benefit of CBD.
An LA based charity The Wolf Connection, a wolf rescue and human empowerment organization was showcased this year. Highlighting that the howl opens your heart, awakens your mind and transforms your life.
DPA, a leader in celebrity gifting was founded by Nathalie Dubois- Sissoko, whose vision was to show her genuine appreciation to well-deserved TV and Film artists who have inspired and uplifted audiences through their work by gifting them with some of America's most exciting products.
