Stabbing One Block North of Third Street Promenade Monday Night

Separately, one homeless person stabbed another at a park within the Santa Monica City Limits

Police and fire responded to 1038 3rd street on Monday night about 8:30 pm, after reports of a person stabbed.

This is between Washington and California, one block north of the Third Street Promenade.

The address is interesting historically since ten most wanted fugitive Whitey Bolger lived there quietly for 15 years until his girlfriend's hairdresser revealed his whereabouts in 2007.

In an apparently separate incident, one homeless person stabbed another at 1:30 am Tuesday morning. Incident occurred at a park within city limits. At 2:45 am, the victim was being transported to UCLA Westwood, SMPD was investigating. Victim suffered 2 stab wounds reportedly.
