Homeless Man Arrested for Throwing Rocks at Customers in the Ralph's Parking Lot

He then began throwing rocks with no one targeted, eventually smashing a vehicle's window which was occupied

A suspect was taken into custody Thursday night around 7 pm, after throwing rocks at customers of Ralph's on Cloverfield and Olympic Blvd in Santa Monica. He was most likely arrested for Assualt with a deadly weapon (245 pc) & vandalism.

The man was inside of the Ralph's Grocery Store before being asked to leave for an unknown reason, he then began throwing rocks with no one targeted, eventually smashing a vehicle's window which was occupied.

One victim suffered cuts to his face and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The suspect was also throwing rocks at people. He was taken into custody three blocks down after running from Santa Monica Police

Separately, Wednesday night two people were reportedly fighting in front of the Ralphs store entrance. It is unknown whether any arrests were made over that incident
