Distant memories of Gym class arise as Middle Age men reminisce about their first coed tussles.
Somewhere in the Midwest, two teens wrestle in Gym class in what people in my generation called a "Coed Class." Coeducational, meaning mixed boys and girls. The young man looks decidedly uncomfortable as he wrestles the young lady.
I must admit, I wrote this story so I could repost the Twitter comments, which are epic. "I would have been DONE, WRECKED, and forever ridiculed if this was me in gym class," posted "I speak for 99.9999999% of the boys, young teens, & men reading this. As a 12 or 13-year-old, it didn't take much to trigger it. The wind. A Sears catalog. Heartbeat.”
"He's about to spend the next 40 years of his life trying to recreate this moment.”
"When he gets home he will have the longest shower ever 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”
"“The stiffest competition comes from the hardest battles.”
"Pretty hard to fight when you’re bricked up. Battle of the Bulge,” tweeted Meth Mouth.
- Isosceles, maybe” tweeted Blueberry Biscuits.
