The Daily Santa Monica Crime and Drug Video - April 30, 2024

Santa Monica's City Council thinks the city is just fine. One councilmember called the homeless residents our neighbors, their wants and desires equivalent to those of people who pay rent and pay taxes. The 'freedom' of some, most of whom suffer from drug addiction and mental illness, to live in filth, disease and to commit crimes with impunity, is valued over the ability of the rest of society to live healthy lives in law and order.

This is just one unbalanced person, already high, who intentionally came to SANTA MONICA's Reed Park to get free needles, then was seen walking away. This man did not need another needle. Take a guess at how many arrests for crimes committed yesterday in SANTA MONICA that involved fentanyl or meth? Guess how much Santa Monica Taxpayers give the Venice Family Clinic every year through the City's Human Services Grant Program? Venice Family Clinic informed SANTA MONICA back in 2020 that it had renamed its syringe distribution to "Harm Reduction". The Venice Family Clinic lists this program as one of its services and activities.
