Leaders in Beauty industry honored by Hollywood at the Daytime beauty awards.

Los Angeles, CA (September 23, 2025) – The prestigious 7th Annual Daytime Beauty Awards (DBAs) were held on Sunday, September 21st at the beautiful Grand Venue in Los Angeles. The star-studded luncheon paid tribute to innovators across beauty, health, and wellness. It is always a one-of-a-kind event, and this year did not disappoint.

Academy Award®–nominated actress and Emmy winner Ann-Margret was this year's Ambassador of ceremonies and she who opened the show alongside Emmy-winning style expert and designer Lawrence Zarian. Some of the celebrities in attendance were Tina Knowles, Jennie Garth, Denise Richards, Tiffany Haddish, Mel Rodriguez, K-Earth 101's Lisa Stanley and Emily Wolfe among many others.

Several innovators were honored at the luncheon for their contribution to the beauty and wellness industry. The day started out with Academy Award–nominated actress and Emmy winner Melissa McCarthy presenting the Outstanding Achievement in Color & Styling to veteran colorist and hairstylist Robert Ramos. Ramos has worked on various celebrities over the years in his glorious career.

The Brand of the Year this year was presented to Revlon by Supermodel and entrepreneur Ashley Graham. Accepting on behalf of the brand was Dana Medema, President of Revlon North America.

The Outstanding Achievement in Skincare was presented by entrepreneur and philanthropist Denise Richards to 3-time Emmy winner Michelle Stafford for her clean beauty line, Skin Nation by Actress. Richards spoke on stage of Stafford's passion for creating non-toxic, plant-based skincare after her sister's battle with breast cancer.

The Outstanding Achievement in Aesthetics was presented to Dr. Jessica Wu by Actress, designer, and podcast host Jennie Garth. Garth praised Wu's dedication to helping women feel confident and beautiful.

The Outstanding Achievement in Fitness was awarded to Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors for Honor Culture by Emmy winner Robert Richard. Richard celebrated the couple for building a wellness lifestyle brand rooted in empowerment and strength.

2018 DBA Nail Honoree and Celebrity nail artist, Yoko Sakakura presented the Outstanding Achievement in Nail Artistry to celebrity Nail artist, Tom Bachik. She noted that his nail artistry has adorned the hands of countless stars on red carpets and magazine covers.

Other awards included The Inventor's Award, which was presented by Sam Ashghari to Dr. Jason Wersland, founder of Therabody, for his innovative TheraFace Mask.

Sleep is an essential part of any beauty routine, and The Sleeping Beauty Award was presented by Comedian Justine Marino and SNL alum Jay Pharoah to Chris Ahern, CEO of PAX, for the breakthrough sleep technology Sleep by PAX. The audience seemed to be looking forward to trying this themselves later!

Scientist and brave acid-attack survivor Juanita Jiménez presented the Outstanding Achievement in Medicine to Dr. Carl Truesdale. Jimenez took the stage to honor the life-changing impact of medical innovation and resilience in her own life and others'.

A highlight of the luncheon was when Designer and philanthropist, Tina Knowles came up on stage to award the Outstanding Achievement in Health to Holly Robinson Peete. Peete was recognized for her advocacy and philanthropic work within the industry and the two shared a sweet moment on stage.

A very deserving foundation, Los Angeles Mounted Platoon Foundation (501c3) was this year's charitable partner. They support the care, training, and wellbeing of LAPD's equine partners. Beyond service, the horses provide mentorship, therapy, and joy to underserved youth, first responders, and communities across Los Angeles. 

The Venue was stunning, and the scrumptious food provided was enjoyed by all. It was a beautiful ceremony which recognized honorees whose work is reshaping self-care and the beauty industry. From Hollywood icons to rising innovators, the ceremony underscored the DBAs' mission of honoring the science and artistry behind beauty. Past awardees to the Day time beauty Awards have included Cindy Crawford, Gabrielle Union, and Christie Brinkley, while presenters have ranged from Jennifer Lopez to Jay Leno, Kelly Rowland, and Sia. All guests left with a gorgeous gift bag filled with some of this year's award-winning products.
