    The Santa Monica Fire Dept says that it has lifted and rescued a man in his late 20's from the side of the cliffs just west of Palisades Park. About 20 firefighters responded to the 1100 block of Ocean Avenue for the gentleman, possibly homeless, probably drunk, who managed to climb down to a "precarious portion of the extremely steep hillside" above PCH.
