Citing budget constraints and Covid-19, Stanford University has announced that it will eliminate eleven sports for 2020. These include fencing, field hockey, lightweight rowing, men's rowing, co-ed and women's sailing, squash, synchronized swimming, men's volleyball, and wrestling for next year.
