Telegram Channel "Cargo 200" Posts Video of Ukrainian Pigs Eating Russian Army Officer

The 4th Geneva Convention on prisoners of war forbids the display of such images, but neither Russia nor Ukraine are signatories

In salacious video posted to a Telegram channel called "Cargo 200", pigs in Ukraine consume the corpse of a Russian army officer. The deceased man is identified as a Captain in the 14 second cellphone video.

Cargo 200 is a controversial Telegram channel, which seeks to discourage the Russian Army by posting photos and videos of deceased Russian military personnel. The 4th Geneva Convention on prisoners of war forbids the display of such images, but neither Russia nor Ukraine are signatories to the 1939 Convention, since they were not independent countries at that time.

The video posted on the Telegram channel shows six rather large pigs standing over what looks like human remains. Four of the pigs appear to be actively feeding on the remains.

It is impossible to confirm the authenticity of the video, which may be seen online at: https://t.me/s/gruz_200_rus?before=3803
