After Stabbing Spree at Pier, Different Homeless People Set Fire to the Hills Above PCH in Santa Monica

"Crime Depravity Outdoor Mental Asylum! Santa Monica is not safe." say signs above PCH, directly below fires set by Homeless.

On Saturday evening, May 28th, a criminally insane person went on a stabbing spree on the Santa Monica Pier. He stabbed several people before being apprehended by the SMPD's Harbor Patrol.

The 100 year old pier is a major tourist attraction for Los Angeles County, ranking with the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park Observatory as among the biggest draws in LA County.

"Crime Depravity Outdoor Mental Asylum! Santa Monica is not safe." say signs above PCH, directly below fires set by Homeless people. The cliffs above PCH are picturesque, which fact has not gone unnoticed by Santa Monica's growing homeless population. Scores of them bed down every night with one of the best views in the world for a homeless encampment.

Separately, a homeless woman was assaulted Monday 5/29 on an MTA bus in Downtown Santa Monica. Her injuries are uncertain. Stabbings committed by homeless people against other homeless people, or against residents and visitors, are now a daily occurrence in Santa Monica.

The progressives who run Los Angeles County do not enforce laws against homeless encampments, viewing laws directed against the homeless as vain attempts to outlaw poverty.

But the level of crime in LA County has gotten so out of control, that the Dems may just have to do something about it before the next election, set for 2024. Stay tuned.
