On Friday, December 13, 2024, the British American Business Council Los Angles held the 64th Annual Christmas Luncheon , with Special Guest Jane Seymour OBE ,at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, 101 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90401.

This was a very jolly Christmas party celebrated in Grand British Tradition which started at 1130 am with a hosted Champagne Reception and Silent Auction, with Emcee Carlos Amezcua.

Loyal Toasts were given to The British American Los Angeles President, Andrew Lewis MBE and to British Consul General Paul Rennie OBE, with delightful musical entertainment by Terry Wollman.

The British American Business Council Los Angeles is part of the largest transatlantic business network with 22 chapters and more than 2,000 member companies and thousands of executives. Their purpose is to cultivate relationships between the business communities of Los Angeles and the UK.

There was a tasty traditional sit-down British Christmas Luncheon, entertainment, and Grand Raffle of Upper Class Tickets to London on Virgin Atlantic Airways. All guests were asked to support their Holiday Drive for Children's Hospital Los Angeles with new hospital friendly toys

The highlight was Special Guest, beautiful Jane Seymour OBE, a multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winner, and recipient of the Officer of the British Empire (OBE) bestowed upon her by Queen Elizabeth II, took the stage and chatted about her life experiences, family, and goals.

Jane Seymour, is an iconic star in all media including the Broadway stage, television, and in motion pictures. Currently Jane stars as the lead in Harry Wild for Acorn TV and BBC America, as a retired college professor's difficulty to quietly adjusting to retirement while staying at the home of her conservative police inspector son

In addition to her stellar acting career, Jane has made compelling contributions as a producer and philanthropist. She has always been involved with many charities, including her personal establishment of Open Hearts Foundation (https://www.openheartsfoundation.org), which supports nonprofit organizations parallel with her mothers' advice and philosophy –that love has no boundaries and flaws

John Zambetti is an ER doctor, and has a rock band for the last 60 years called "The Malibooz with Walter Egan". Jane thinks that "John is the most wonderful, loving, and extraordinary man!"
