Oscar season is here and despite the devastating wildfires, the city of Los Angeles has decided it will still celebrate the arts and cinema by holding the Annual Oscar Awards. To honor the Oscar nominees, the veteran Luxury Lifestyle Gifting and special events company DPA, decided to hosting the prestigious DPA Music lounge on February 28th and March 1st. Held at the LUXE Hotel in Los Angeles, this year the guests were treated to a lavish array of gifts and services.
Nathalie Dubois the founder of DPA, who has in the past produced the official Billboard Music awards DPA gift suite, hosted a mindful event, in honor of first responders and the victims of the LA fires. Adam Ballou, a brand famous for its messages of compassion, empathy, kindness, and understanding on its tee shirts, curated a special gift bag, as well as a new patch "from ashes LA rises", available to the DPA guests in support of all the fires victims.
Every DPA event always features has the latest in beauty and skincare and this year was no different. This year, there was an array of beauty, skincare, well-being, and fashion brands that graciously gifted the guests with their amazing products and services.
This year DPA created a Japanese lounge showcasing exquisite Japanese brands. Six Japanese artisans showcased their products: from Ikebana (art of flowers) to tatami and matcha tea utensils and traditional Japanese paper(washi), Kitama Wool Weaving, Cucuri (ArimatsuShibori), TakaokayaTsunekawaTatamiten, Maruta Shoten, Pele Malie Flowers, and Kashiwaya Co., Ltd. These brands presented centuries old traditional techniques to the guests.
Korean brand Basselco also showcased
3 Kbeauty brands: Centeliann 24, W. Dressroom and Madeca Derma who gifted the guests with gift facial masks, serum, creams, perfumes.
Staying with beauty, guests were treated with products from brands such as Ere Perez, SkinMedica, Blown LA, House of Laser, Body Sauce collection the new skincare brand created by celebrity Terrence Terrell.
Fashion designer extraordinaire Tess Mann Atelier was present with her exquisite and unique wearable products.Hand-made by her team in India, Mann's collection reflects the intricate embroidery of Indian style and the richness of the fabrics which are sure to turn heads on the red carpet. The Sophisticate Collection, with its emphasis on elegance and subtle sensuality, is thoughtfully crafted using sustainable and ethical practices to create pieces that are both environmentally conscious and red-carpetworthy.
Swiss Glamour handbag designer De Marquet was also at the event and showcased their latest collection ahead of the award season. These beautiful pieces showcasecraftsmanship, timeless hues and practical designs, with each piece being the perfect companion for one's life's adventure.
The DPA guests discovered Naturelle With Love, a Bulgarian brand whose exclusive range of 100% natural beauty products are enriched with Bulgarian Rosa Damascena Oil. This amazing luxurious collection is for nurturing the skin and embracing the natural beauty giving an experience of holistic living and inherent beauty.
No suite is complete without travel, and selected nominees left with a gift certificate of luxury stays at the all-inclusive resort, at the exquisite Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts in French Polynesia, right next to the exotic Bora Bora.
There was something for the mind, body, and spirit as well with some incredible writers and thinkers present. TEDx 's Corey Poirier gifted his book "The enlightened passenger" and there were also gifted authors Mick Heyman and Oshiri with their latest books.
For a scrumptious bite to eat, Hidden Foods was present and hosted a waffle bar in the morning and a pasta bar in the afternoon. Their mixes have hidden veggies, with zero sugar added and real whole foods. They are hiding healthy in great taste!
Some of DPA's favorites to be included were Kokom Scrunchies by Mya Beaudry, as well as Monkey Snax with its freeze dried ice cream, a revolutionary concept!
Guest left the amazing suite with a gift bag full of products by brands like Yacht Club Access, a luxury swim and resort brand, which introduced its exclusive Yoga/Fitness wear collaboration with Metric Mat. Other brands include Sal Y Limon, Beach Sandy, Black Château Enterprises, intuitive healer Kim Alexander, pet communicator Connect with Keao, Bonilla A La Vista (most expensive chips in the world), Chipz Happen, Slow North and Waterloo.
As is the fashion, the lounge always showcases amazing beverage brands. Perfect example of this was Perduret, a luxurious sparkling wine crafted from wildflower honey sourced from a wildlife preserve, offering a unique and refined tasting experience. If wine isn't your thing, the lounge had you covered with cocktails from LA mixer brand "This Girl Walks Into a Bar". This cocktails mixers brand is owned by two sisters, one of whom lost her home, and all their bartending business supplies in the Palisades fire. The Palisades brand created three cocktails for the DPA event: "Hollywood Stars", "The Red Carpet" and "LA Strong"
Supporting various humanitarian organizations for decades, this year was no different with the DPA lounge supporting Indian Yogi and mystic Sadhguru and his nonprofit organization, the Isha Foundation, which is dedicated to raising human consciousness in LA and beyond.
