Trio of Suspects Sought in Brentwood Home Invasion Robbery, Other Local Burglary Attempts

A female tenant of the residence says that she was held down by the neck by two suspects.

BRENTWOOD - Los Angeles police are searching for three suspects who broke into a home on Montana Avenue near Bristol Avenue Monday night while residents were inside, authorities said.Officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress around 8:41 p.m. on May 18, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Three individuals dressed in all black used a crowbar to smash the glass of the front patio door and entered the residence.

A female tenant of the residence says that she was held down by the neck by two suspects. They later released her unharmed.

The suspects fled when they realized the homeowners were present, police believe. No injuries were reported.

LAPD has not released detailed descriptions of the suspects or surveillance images as of Tuesday. The investigation remains ongoing.The incident occurred in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, just east of Santa Monica. Residents in the neighborhood are urged to review home security measures, including reinforced doors and functioning cameras, and to report any suspicious activity to police.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact LAPD detectives. This marks another reported residential break-in in the Westside, though no immediate links to other incidents have been announced.
