The Daily Santa Monica Crime and Drug Video - April 29, 2024

Santa Monica's City Council thinks the city is just fine. One councilmember called the homeless residents our neighbors, their wants and desires equivalent to those of people who pay rent and pay taxes. The 'freedom' of some, most of whom suffer from drug addiction and mental illness, to live in filth, disease and to commit crimes with impunity, is valued over the ability of the rest of society to live healthy lives in law and order.

The Santa Monica Coalition is a movement comprised of Santa Monica residents, business owners, and locals that addresses the humanitarian crisis, public safety concerns, the rising crime, and the current lack of responsiveness from the City of Santa Monica.

Follow-up verbal exchange between Santa Monica Co-founder John Alle and LA County Health Director and her team, who collectively are paid over $2,225 (Million) a year. The County's Needle Distribution program costs Taxpayers close to $75 million. The hastily planned in-person and zoom "Harm Reduction Community Meeting" was announced just a few days in advance and scheduled during Spring Break on Good Friday, March 29th, 2024. Many residents, business owners, and some City employees injured in the parks as a result of Needle Distribution, listened, spoke and sent in letters. The lawsuit filed by the Santa Monica Coalition will proceed. See full meeting here
