The Daily Santa Monica Crime and Drug Video - May 3, 2024

Santa Monica's City Council thinks the city is just fine. One councilmember called the homeless residents our neighbors, their wants and desires equivalent to those of people who pay rent and pay taxes. The 'freedom' of some, most of whom suffer from drug addiction and mental illness, to live in filth, disease and to commit crimes with impunity, is valued over the ability of the rest of society to live healthy lives in law and order.

The Santa Monica Coalition is a movement comprised of Santa Monica residents, business owners, and locals that addresses the humanitarian crisis, public safety concerns, the rising crime, and the current lack of responsiveness from the City of Santa Monica.

The Venice Family Clinic at work in SANTA MONICA's Parks and behind the 3rd Street Promenade. BOTH the City of SANTA MONICA and the LA County Dept. of Public Health have been funding the Needle Distribution, code-named the "Common Ground Program". SANTA MONICA's City Managers (Lane Dilg and David White) and two former Mayors (Gleam Davis and Sue Himmelrich) approved disbursements from the City's General Fund and Human Services Grant, then tried to cover up their actions and support of the open air needle distribution. Lives and businesses have been destroyed as a result. David White and Gleam Davis STILL 'serve' Santa Monica in their respective positions as City Manager and City Councilmember. The Venice Family Clinic and other nonprofits receiving City funds and grants have remained the only known true beneficiaries (so far).
