In a story too funny not to repost, the Babylon Bee thinks it knows why Trump lost the 2020 Presidential election. The satirical publication has theorized that the Utah Monolith is actually constructed out of missing Trump votes. "UTAH DESERT-Scientists and conspiracy theorists are baffled after a strange monolith-shaped stack of missing Trump votes was discovered without explanation in the middle of the Utah desert. "RIGGED ELECTION!" tweeted Donald Trump after seeing the...
About 75 protestors marched up the hilly roads above Dodger Stadium on Sunday to protest outside the home of Barbara Ferrer, PhD, MPH, MEd, Director of Public Health. Ferrer has been the orchestrator of the various lockdown orders beginning in March. An expert in social justice and health equity, Dr. Ferrer is now referred to on talk radio as "doctor non-doctor" or "not-a-doctor" Ferrer. She makes almost half a million dollars a year in salary and benefits and has no medical...
With 2 other Supervisors, Sheila Kuehl voted to close all of LA County's 31,000 restaurants on Monday, November 23. Then she went out to eat at Il Forno on Ocean Park Blvd on Tuesday night, November 24. "This is why people get pissed and have no respect for politicians. They can't even follow THEIR OWN protocol. Embarrassing." tweeted Anthony Steele. Kuehl's explanation was she goes to eat there every night, and was catching a final meal at her favorite eatery near her Santa...
One things becoming clear: Joe Biden is so very fragile that he cannot even play with his German Shepherd, without breaking his foot. And as usual, the Media will never demand transparency from any Democrat. On Sunday, Biden's doctor announced that the president-elect had twisted his ankle the day before while playing with his dog, Major. The injury will likely require Biden to wear a walking boot. "Initial x-rays are reassuring that there is no obvious fracture and he will...
Two Los Angeles County Supervisors led a failed attempt to reverse the county Department of Public Health's decision to close outdoor dining at area restaurants. Supervisors Kathryn Barger and Janice Hahn co-authored a motion to allow outdoor dining to continue at 50 percent capacity. The motion failed 3-2. The two supervisors' motion followed an announcement on Sunday, November 22, by the county's Public Health Department that they were ordering the closure of all outdoor...
UPDATE: The questions posed during the webinar can be found under the "Get Involved" tab on the Housing Element Update website. However, no answers have yet been posted. We did receive an answer to an emailed question about financing for the affordable housing: "Regarding your questions, producing affordable housing takes investment both from private and public sector. You are right that the amount of affordable housing allocated to Santa Monica is a substantial amount that...
An attorney representing the Trump campaign in lawsuits in Michigan, Wisconsin and other states claims that the Trump campaign now has explosive evidence to demonstrate that the 2020 presidential election was manipulated in Joe Biden's favor. Speaking on Fox News to Maria Bartiromo Sunday 11/15, Sidney Powell is not terribly specific. She says Dominion software is completely unreliable, that it's been used by Hugo Chavez and China to steal elections. She claims that hundreds...
Thousands took to the streets of major US cities to celebrate as Joe Biden seemed to have clinched the 2020 Presidential election. "Joe Biden and I are ready to get to work on behalf of the American people," tweeted Vice President elect Kamala Harris. President Elect Joe Biden said he was honored and humbled by his election, something he has sought for decades. He planned to address the nation at 5 pm PST. US Senators Lindsey Graham and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell...
If you follow US Politics, you know that things are not looking good right now for the campaign to re elect Donald J. Trump as US President. Only a few states (Arizona, North Carolina and Georgia) are still counting, and democrat Joe Biden is ahead in them all. He already has the electoral college votes to ascend to the White House. The mainstream media, even Fox News, have all called the election for Biden. Nevertheless, a few diehard Trump supporters are holding rallies in...
An editorial in Real Clear Politics suggests that this election was stolen, and that the evidence for it is right in front of us. In an editorial entitled "The Kafka Election: Finding a Way Out of the Maze" Frank Miele calls it rather obvious that Democrats conducted systemic ballot harvesting in five major cities. Or that someone did something even worse, such as creating false ballots. All five cities are run by Democratic party regulars, Even though the cities are located i...
Santa Monica is to hold three virtual community workshops to "engage" the public in discussing how to shoehorn in the 8,874 additional housing units assigned to them by the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG). The city received its allocation of the Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) from the quasi-governmental SCAG last fall. That number originated with the state's Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), who delivered to SCAG an estimate...
President Trump and Joe Biden camps both thought they would ultimately win the presidency, as mail in votes continued to be counted in at least 5 states. "How come every time they count Mail-In ballot dumps they are so devastating in their percentage and power of destruction?" President Trump tweeted. "This is a major fraud on our nation," he said last night. Joe Biden said that he felt confident and urged his voters to wait to declare victory until after all the votes were...
Better stock up on Kleenex, because there's going to be a lot of leftist tears next week. Trump will be president for the next 4 years. Prior to 2016, Silicon Valley, the US Media, traditional republicans like the McCains and of course, all democrat politicians were in complete agreement: Import as many low wage workers as possible from Latin America, as many students as possible from China and India, and let them stay. Never fix the Southern border. Manufacture everything...
There was a marked difference in the response and capability of police in quelling rioting between Philadelphia and Los Angeles this week. In Philadelphia, police were outmanned and overpowered when rioting and looting broke out in response to the police shooting death of Walter Wallace, Jr. Purported protestors rampaged through the city for two days, looting stores and injuring journalists, police, and each other. At least 11 people were shot by other looters. Meanwhile, in...

There are many alarmingly radical propositions on the ballot this election. Please go through the many measures, educate yourself, and vote. Otherwise, you will be unpleasantly surprised with the results, which could include your favorite businesses closing, increased costs for everything - including ride shares - and uncontrollable crime on the streets. Proposition 14 - Bonds for Stem Cell Research-- NO This bond essentially borrows $7.3 billion for medical research. While...
When Donald Trump was elected president in November of 2016, his opponents were dumbfounded. How could this television personality, a veritable buffoon, have defied conventional wisdom and every single poll that said he would lose by a landslide? How could the country possibly have chosen him? The possibility that Trump and his message of "America first" might have actually appealed to Americans was discounted. Foul play must have been involved. Along with other conspiracy...
Santa Monica looks like one big construction pit. Soon enough, it will look like one big traffic jam, with cars circling like sharks (if they can move) to find the extremely rare parking spot. All this was done with private agreements between the city and developers to allow building beyond the city's zoning limits. Crimes of all types are on the rise although they are often not recorded. Residents assume the police don't care, and many crimes have been downgraded to...
Along with the alarming issues on the California State ballot there are a few alarming issues to be decided at the city and county level. In addition, you must choose who you want to run various local institutions and think hard about the environment that has been provided by incumbents. We provide guidance. The latest in a series of ever-changing requirements for reopening is the California Health Equity Metric. Before the new metric was announced by Governor Newsom at the end of September, a county only had to show an overall lowering in cases and test positivity rates in order to move from one "tier" to the next restrictive tier. Now, a county must also demonstrate that those census tracts in the "lowest quartile of the Healthy Places Index" can meet or come near the rates for...
October 16, 2020 - Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on another remark by Sen. Dianne Feinstein that has made the news: When Sen. Dianne Feinstein made a patently anti-Catholic comment in 2017, saying to circuit-court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, "the dogma lives loudly within you," I wrote to the senator expressing my concerns. More important, I mobilized thousands of Catholics to email Sen. Charles Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, about...
Oscar de la Torre, the often outspoken candidate for Santa Monica City Council alleges that dozens of ballots were found in a trash can. He has called a press conference for 3 pm Wednesday. We sent our most senior staff photographer, Mary Leipziger, to attend. "A young man in a chartreuse jacket said came home from work at 4 AM Thursday October 8. (He would not give me his name, nor some photos he says he has). He is a local resident, and found his neighbors congregating in...
The family of Dhun May travelled from India to Malaya (which is now part of Malaysia), then to Jamaica and then to The Bahamas before arriving in the United States-- at which time Dhun May was 9 years old. May is Zoroastrian and so is a member of a community that today is one of the world's smallest communities. She has a beloved adult son who passed away named Daniel, and a daughter who is a veterinarian. The daughter, Dr. Armaiti May, is an activist for veganism and opposes...
Governor Newsom signed an executive order requiring all passenger vehicles sold after 2035 to be zero-emission. The order commands the California Air Resources Board to develop regulations that will make this goal of all-electric vehicles a reality. Once these regulations are drafted, they will go through a process of legal, economic, and environmental analyses, as well as public comment and hearings. Newsom's order, which he calls "the most impactful step our state can take...
